Reading captain Liam Moore has said he is relishing playing as part of a back four and alongside Michael Morrison after Reading's 2-0 win over Preston North End.
It was a fourth consecutive clean sheet for Reading, with Liam Moore labelling Saturday's win as the perfect away performance.
"I'd say that was a perfect away performance. We stuck to our game plan, we hit them on the break, we stayed compact and got another clean sheet so we're happy.
"I know when I'm in my area what I can do. I've formed a good partnership with Michael [Morrison] quite quickly and we just love keeping the ball out of the back of the net.
"We've rode our luck a bit but that is what we like to do, we're defenders."
The Reading captain denied that he was interested in a move away from the club, with rumors circulating that West Brom were interested in his signature.
"The key word there is rumors. I'm just trying to keep my performance up now. I said that the left centre half is my best position, I know what I can do there.
"I just want to hit the levels I know I can hit. I'm training hard, I've got fantastic coaching staff onto me about raising my game and I want to do that.
"I want to reach the highest level possible and that will only happen with performances on the pitch."
