OUR Lady of Peace Premier inflicted a first Reading & District League Division One defeat of the season on table-toppers Kingfisher A as they emerged 6-4 winners.

Liam McTiernan managed a hat-trick, while teammate Sam Ricks won twice before the pair teamed up to win the doubles.

Second-placed Sonning Common & Peppard B were 7-3 winners at Springfield A, Jeremy Willis starring with a treble and Nigel Maltby winning twice.

Justin Mead and Richard Rosinski both got maximums as Kingfisher B beat Curzon Club A 8-2, while Graham Mendick and Julian Telford both starred with trebles as Kennet Valley A beat Tidmarsh B 8-2.

In another 8-2 scoreline, Tidmarsh A came out on top against Sonning Common & Peppard C, Lee Calcutt and Tony Baker both getting impressive maximums.

In Division Two, a treble from Eric Van Looy halted leaders OLOP A in their tracks as Tilehurst Methodists A won 7-3, Keith Winter also winning. Sonning Sports A stayed in second place despite only managing a 5-5 draw against Springfield B, Paul Savage recorded yet another maximum for Sonning.

Johnny Abbott starred with a three-straight treble as Sonning Common & Peppard D won 8-2 at Kingfisher D, while Thomas Lewis got a maximum as Our Lady of Peace B managed a 6-4 win against Kingfisher E.

Dave Holt and Alistair Richardson battled out a 5-5 draw with Milestone A despite only being able to field two players, the latter starring with a fine treble.

Bottom team OLOP D managed to get a 5-5 draw against Pangbourne WMC with Morgan Sykes and Graham Stark winning twice for OLOP.

In Division Three, Kingfisher F beat a one-man Sonning Sports B team 10-0.

Springfield C moved off the bottom by beating OLOP E 6–4 with Jason King and Jonny Worrall both gaining doubles, while Tidmarsh D defeated a two-player Tilehurst Methodists B team 6–4 with Terry Hardie starring with a hat trick.

Leaders Reading FC A continued to march on by winning 8-2 at Milestone B, Mike Childs and Anthony Alleyne both hitting trebles.

Nick Lean put in the performance of the season by gaining a treble to help Curzon Club B share the spoils 5-5 at Tidmarsh C.

Sonning Common & Peppard E had an emphatic victory over Division Four title rivals Kingfisher H, winning 8-2 thanks to a treble from Anthony Reeve and doubles from both Ian Davenport and Jim Warren.

Qing Wu played a blinder for OLOP F, wining all three to secure a 5-5 draw with Reading FC B, Alona Slobodskoy’s double also proving to be vital.

Milestone C suffered a 7-3 defeat against leaders Sonning Common & Peppard G with no-one able to defeat Simon Berry.

Sonning Common & Peppard F lost 8-2 to Tidmarsh E, Roger Stevens recording his first maximum of the season and Steve Andrews and John Harland two wins apiece along with the doubles.

Kennet Valley Free Church B defeated Sonning Sports C 7-3, Jamie Li-Telford recording his first maximum and Lewis Oke two wins. For Sonning, Roshan Patel recorded two successes.
