OUR Lady of Peace Premier got back to winning ways in Division One after they beat Tidmarsh A 9-1, Steve Murgatroyd and Ian Cole with impressive three-straight trebles.

Kingfisher A kept near the leading pack after their 7-3 win at Sonning Common & Peppard A, Hari Gehlot starring with a maximum alongside two from Tony Stead, while Cath Venning starred with a fine treble as Kennet Valley A defeated Curzon Club A 6-4.

Andy Wang’s treble helped Sonning Common & Peppard B draw 5-5 at Tidmarsh B, while a Richard Rosinski maximum saw Kingfisher B beat Sonning Common & Peppard C 6-4, Emma Blachford adding two wins.

Kingfisher C won 7-3 at Springfield A despite only being able to field two players, Phil Mead and Alan Cummings both getting maximums as well as winning the doubles set.

Division Two leaders OLOP A maintained their position with a good 8-2 win at Sonning Common & Peppard D with maximums from Ralph Phillips and Ben Carless.

Tilehurst Methodists A defeated a two-man Kingfisher E side 9-1 with Eric Van Looy and Keith Winter unbeaten, while Sonning Sports A predictably had a comfortable victory over OLOP D with the usual maximums for Nick Sears and Paul Savage.

Milestone A were surprisingly held to a draw by Springfield B with Stephen Leggett getting a hard-fought maximum for Springfield, and a good all-round team performance saw OLOP B beat Pangbourne WMC 7-3 despite Clive Taylor’s double.

Clive Gold was undefeated on the night as Kingfisher D beat a two-man OLOP C side 7-3.

Hat-tricks from Mo Cook and a first of the season from Louise Forster helped OLOP E win 8-2 at Sonning Sports B in Division Three.

Despite a great treble from Paul Treadgold, a two-man Curzon Club C team lost 7-3 to Tidmarsh D.

Tidmarsh C also faced a two-man team in Kingfisher G team and won 10–0, Spencer Harvey, Richard Hudson and Dave Sheppard all unbeaten.

Mike Childs and Anthony Alleyne both gained maximums to help table-toppers Reading FC A win 9-1 at Kingfisher F.

Curzon Club B won 8-2 at Springfield C with Nick Lean and Kate Maksimenko both gaining trebles, while Milestone B had a fine 7–3 over Tilehurst Methodists B with Chris Collins obtaining another treble.

In Division Four, Milestone C secured their first win of the season by defeating Springfield D 6-4, John Evans and Carl Edlind both recording maximums.

Reading FC B remain undefeated following a narrow 6-4 win over Sonning Common & Peppard F thanks to a maximum from Joe Bull.

For the Commoners, Mike Casserley and Derek Brooke-Wavell recorded two wins.

Kingfisher H took top spot after their 6-4 win at OLOP F, Azaan Ali recording another maximum while Roger Prew recorded a further double. For OLOP, Qing Wu recorded two wins.

Kennet Valley Free Church B suffered an 8-2 defeat at the hands of Sonning Common & Peppard G as Simon Berry and Melvyn Lovegrove both won all three for the Commoners.

Sonning Sports C recorded their first win of the season, defeating Tidmarsh E 7-3 as John Scott clinched a treble and Phil Peat assisted with two wins.
