Reading fans took to Twitter following their 4-1 thumping at the hands of Fulham to vent their feelings.
The defeat means the Royals slump to 21st in the Championship and on a six-match winless run in all competitions.
Reading started promisingly but fell away once John Swift was sent off and Fulham put the home side to the sword with some devastating attacking play.
Fans bemoaned the sending off and the first half display, which saw the Royals go in 3-0 down at the break:
If Swift dosent get sent off (which wasn’t a second yellow) it could’ve been a totally different game. We looked dangerous on the counter and I saw us nicking a couple of goals however I couldn’t see anything but a loss with that midfield and Gomes so slow to react. #readingfc

I'm almost over last night. Still just a tad annoyed that it doesn't even feel like it's going down to 10 men that cost us, just a total inability to defend. It's not even solely a Gomes problem - we've been conceding soft goals for years now #readingfc

Hard to form proper opinions about last night for #readingfc as playing for 10 men against a superb side for 70 minutes was never going to turn out well. Minor positives in the performances of Pușcaș and Rafael with his second half saves. Miazga for Morrison looks worth enacting

Gomes is under serious pressure IMO. Our form is shocking lately, and results are too. He done well last year, although it wasn’t the impossible job, but for some reason it just isnt working atm. Things have to change, and change quickly #readingfc
