Reading forward Marc McNulty has completed a loan move to League One Sunderland.
The Edinburgh-born forward signed for the Royals from Coventry City last summer and scored once in 15 appearances before making a loan move to Hibernian in January.
McNulty last featured for Reading in a 2-0 defeat against his former club, Sheffield United, at the start of December. Upon returning to his native Scotland, for the first time since leaving Livingston back in 2014, the 26-year-old netted eight goals in 17 appearances during his stay at Easter Road.
Now he becomes a Black Cat for 2019-20. Sunderland finished fifth in League One last season but were denied a move back to the second tier at the final hurdle, suffering defeat to Charlton Athletic in the League One play-off final at Wembley in May.
McNulty was rumoured to be moving back to Hibernian but manager Paul Heckingbottom was concerned about the cost to take the forward back to Easter Road.
