CHRIS Gunter has been included in Ryan Giggs' Wales squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers double-header this week.
First up for the 94-times capped full back is a tough trip to World Cup finalists Croatia (3pm), before they return home to play Hungary next Tuesday (7.45pm).
Having won their opening game against Slovakia, Gunter is determined to help his side qualify for the main event, stating: "I always said its alright getting high caps, but you want to be in some sort of success and have some really good experiences.
"We have a good chance to get back to a major tournament and that is the only aim. There's no point looking at numbers or statistics.
"We want to be qualifying from this group because now we have been there and everyone knows what it's like, it makes you a little bit more hungry to experience it again.
"That is the only aim, to try and help in any way to get this country back to another major tournament."
Meanwhile, striker Jón Daði Böðvarsson – who endured an injury-hit season with Royals – is in the Iceland squad for their home games against Albania on Saturday and Turkey on Tuesday.
