RPA Sevens Player of the Year and ex-Reading girls player, Alex Matthews, opened the new gym at the clubhouse this week.
Representatives from the men's and ladies senior teams joined chairman Stuart Spindler this week in welcoming Matthews back to Holme Lane.
The new gym is spread out over two rooms with one being designated as the strength and conditioning suite, encompassing Olympic lifting platforms and heavy weights, and the second room as a fitness studio.
The gym is also available to any member, but with a top up of £100 to a current social only member, or £150 to a new social only membership (£50 Social Membership, £100 for Gym Membership).
This will be done on a first come first serve basis.
