READING RFC collected five points from their Southern Counties North game against Littlemore after the visitors conceded the game in the wake of a tragedy at the club.
Their player K Kairu Kagia died suddenly in the week leading up to the game, but the Oxfordshire-based side agreed to play a friendly with a mixed-ability team as it was one of Reading president Ian Cameron Webb's last vice-president lunches.
Littlemore fielded a side of mixed first and second team players, while the Reading team was a combination of first team, veterans and members of the coaching staff.
Reading ran out winners 57-12, and play their last league game at promotion-chasing Marlow this coming Saturday.
