READING FC fans celebrated long into Saturday night after their team beat Ipswich Town to boost their Championship survival chances.
Jose Gomes’ men briefly slipped back into the relegation zone while they were drawing at Portman Road and chief rivals Rotherham United were winning against Blackburn Rovers.
But Mo Barrow popped up with a last-gasp winner for the Royals to secure their first victory on the road since mid-September.
The celebrations between the Reading players and among the 1,500 travelling supporters summed up the huge feeling of relief on the day.
Gomes insisted it was important to keep their feet on the ground with only goal difference keeping them above the bottom three.
But that didn’t stop jubilant supporters from hailing their team’s performance at the weekend.
Here's what they have been saying on social media.

Safety is still some way away, but days like yesterday can’t help but give me every faith. If we stay up, I’m genuinely excited for next season under José Gomes. There is a connection back between club and fans, and that’s priceless. #readingfc
