TABLE-TOPPING Tilehurst Albion went goal crazy as they battered hosts YMCA United 11-0.

Richard Kearsey took the plaudits with a brilliant hat-trick, while there were doubles for Toby Briggs, Harvey Owen and Joel Penson.

The rout was completed by Charlie Baines and Steve Hannah.

A Karim Gaye brace kept YMCA Newbury level on points at the top, but with a game in hand, following a hard-fought 2-1 success against Reading Saints. Sean Hastings was on target for the visitors.

A Dom Howard double and a Nick Schippers strike were enough for Barkham Athletic to win 3-1 at Wycliffe Wanderers, Oly Williams replying.

Matthew Bradbrook struck twice and Steven Downes and Simon Taplin were also on target as Greyfriars returned to winning ways with a 5-1 rout of Bethel United, while Alasdair Carter scored for Wycliffe United as they leapfrogged Norreys into sixth spot following a 2-0 success.

Women's Football

JODIE Penny and Rosie Page-Smith were on the scoresheet for Woodley United Ladies as they beat Winchester City Flyers in the Southern Region Premier Division.

It was the best performance of the season from the visitors, who had shipped nine goals to Winchester during a heavy defeat in a League Challenge Cup clash earlier this term.

l IN Division Two South of the Thames Valley Counties League, Barton Rovers Royals made the short trip to Thatcham Flames. With a strong, swirling wind conditions were difficult, but Royals came away with a 3-1 victory.

On target for Barton were Leah North, with a brace, and Caitlin Levy.

Barton Rovers Ladies' Southern Region Premier Division game with Oxford City was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

l JOINT players-of-the-match Ayala Truelove and Gemma Burnett were on the scoresheet for Newbury in their 4-2 Southern Region Premier Division reverse against Warsash Wasps.

In Division Two South of the Thames Valley Counties League, two-goal Nicole Beesley was the stand-out performer for Newbury Development in their 5-2 defeat at Caversham Swans.
