READING FC have been drawn against Jose Mourinho's Manchester United at Old Trafford in the FA Cup third round for the second time in three seasons.
The mouthwatering tie was the sixth pulled out of the hat in tonight's live draw on BBC One.
Royals, ball number 32, will make the trip in early January in a game that is likely to be chosen for live television coverage.
And they will be hoping for a better result this time round after losing 4-0 at the famous ground at the same stage of the competition in January 2017.
On that occasion Jaap Stam endured a miserable return to his former club as a brace from Marcus Rashford plus further goals from Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial saw United cruise into the next round.
It was a memorable day for Rooney as he also became United's joint all-time leading goalscorer in the process alongside Sir Bobby Charlton.
Reading also played Sir Alex Ferguson's United side at Old Trafford in a fifth-round clash in February 2013.
On that day Brian McDermott's Royals lost 2-1, with Javier Hernandez and Nani scoring for the hosts before former skipper Jobi McAnuff pulled one back for the visitors.
All third-round ties in this season's FA Cup will take place between Friday, January 4 and Monday, January 7, 2019.
