Jonathan Norris and Matt Godwin got the other goals for the hosts, who remain pointless after five matches.

In the Senior Division, two goals from Clifford Haylett and a Marcelo Soares effort helped AFC Burghfield edge out Southcote Colts 3-2.

Dan Haywood and Joe Partridge were on target for Colts, who were reduced to 10 men when Dylan Giles saw red.

The games between Eldon Celtic and Emmer Green, and Tilehurst Club and The Sportsman were both abandoned.

Premier Division table-toppers Burghfield lost for the first time this season as they went down 2-1 at home to AFC Bradfield.

The visitors led 2-0 at the break, and despite Jack Farley’s late strike, Burghfield could not find an equaliser.

Sebastian Colcutt got the only goal of the game as Richfield Rovers beat AFC Caversham 1-0, while Tilehurst YM shared the spoils following a 0-0 stalemate at home to WS Hobnob.

In Division Two, Byron O’Regan, Lawrence Payne and Peter Swan netted for Brimpton Rangers in their comfortable 3-0 home success against Delta Vigo, and Wokingham & Emmbrook were also victorious, 3-2 at Park Villa.

Loxwood’s dreams ended in penalty heartbreak as they went down 4-2 on spot-kicks at Parklife Rovers, the two sides having drawn 2-2 after the home side equalised in the 97th minute.

It was a cruel way for the visitors to lose after controlling large chunks of the tie and they looked destined to make progress as they lead 2-1 before Parklife struck with the very last kick of the game.

Earlier, centre-back Michael Flatman had headed Loxwood into a 34th-minute lead with his fifth goal of the season, ably assisted by Lewis McLaren.

And when Luke Giles made it 2-0 early in the second half, Loxwood looked in complete control.

However, the home side caught Loxwood on the break in the 66th minute and then a rash challenge on the edge of the box by the otherwise outstanding McLaren saw Parklife level from the resulting free-kick.

McLaren kept his composure during penalties to score along with skipper Luke Parsons, but Dan Pringle and Jamie Turner saw their efforts saved to leave Loxwood wondering how they had failed to reach the fourth round of the competition.

James Bozarth, James Coker and replacement Matt Holloway were all on the scoresheet as Englefield Eagles Reds knocked out Southbank 3-1, Rene Galente with the consolation.

A Jordan Rowland brace and goals from Luca Albanese and Matty Davies fired Southcote Colts Reserves past Whitley Athletic 4-2.
