SONNING Common & Peppard B became the first team to take Reading & District League Division One points off Kingfisher A after wins by Andy Wang against Sagar Sawant and Krasimir Ivanov.

However, Dimitry Khakamov managed a hat-trick as Kingfisher stayed unbeaten by winning the match 8-2.

Martin Adams, Mark Banks and Artur Morar all got maximums as Kingfisher B trounced Tidmarsh A 10-0, while Malcolm Gregory starred for Sonning Common & Peppard A as they beat Kingfisher D 8-2.

Kingfisher C won 8-2 at Kennet Valley Free Church A, Alan Cummings starring with a treble.

Tidmarsh B and Sonning Common & Peppard C shared the spoils as they drew 5-5, Tony Baker with a maximum for Tidmarsh.

Curzon Club A picked up their first win of the season against fellow strugglers Milestone A, Pete Bradley leading the way with a maximum as Curzon ran out 7-3 winners.

Springfield A stayed top of Division Two after winning 9-1 against Pangbourne WMC, Adam Sheen and Phil Burke with maximums.

Graham Mendick’s impressive form continued as he got a treble as Milestone/Sayain Brothers B won 9-1 against Kingfisher E, Daniel Wills also getting a maximum.

Curzon Club B managed a first win of the season as they beat Our Lady of Peace A 6-4, Nick Lean starring with a treble alongside two wins from John Walker.

Another Roger Pritchard treble helped high-flying Kingfisher F grab a 6-4 win at Sonning Sports A, while Sonning Common & Peppard D and Our Lady of Peace C shared the points as they drew 5-5, Mark Jones starring for the Commoners with a fine hat-trick.

In Division Three, Tilehurst Methodists B hammered Reading FC A 9–1 with Eric Van Looy and Nigel Rowland both gaining trebles.

Springfield C and Sonning Sports B drew 5-5, while Paul Treadgold was the star for Our Lady of Peace D by winning all three to help them draw 5-5 with Kingfisher G.

Springfield B won 7-3 at Tidmarsh D thanks mainly to hat-tricks from Rob Wilkie and Seth Martin.

Maximums from Melvyn Lovegrove and Jamie Legg helped Sonning Common & Peppard E beat Kingfisher H 9-1, while Ian Wu was too good for Curzon Club C by gaining a treble as they grabbed a 5-5 draw against Tidmarsh C, and Sonning Common & Peppard G lost 9-1 to Our Lady of Peace E.

Springfield D travelled to Kennet Valley Free Church B and won 7-3, Tom Berryman and Chris Speight both recording trebles.

Sonning Common & Peppard F won 6-4 at Kingfisher I, thanks to a Mike Casserley hat-trick.

Milestone C turned up the heat on table-topping Reading FC B with a 6-4 victory, Michal Pszczolka recording a maximum in his first outing, assisted by a double from Carl Edlind. Springfield E defeated Sonning Sports C 8-2, with Marcello Caramma recording a maximum while Colin Jones and Julian Lancaster could only record doubles as they both lost to Jude O’Halloran.
