Reading FC winger Garath McCleary is set to make his first start since February as he prepares to make his long-awaited return from injury.

The fleet-footed winger was named in Paul Clement's starting XI against Millwall this afternoon (3pm KO).

The Jamaican international makes his first start since February after he broke his ankle in the home defeat against 3-1 Sheffield United.

Anssi Jaakola also comes into Clement's side while Chris Gunter and Marc McNulty have both been relegated to the bench.

Saeid Ezatolahi picked up an unfortunate injury while on international duty with Iran recently and also misses out.

Royals are struggling towards the bottom of the SkyBet Championship and have won just one of their last eight league games at Madejski Stadium.

They sit in 20th place in the table, just one point and one point behind Neil Harris' Lions.

Former Reading academy graduate Jake Cooper starts for the Lions meanwhile while ex-captain Jem Karacan misses out for Neil Harris' side.
