SOUTH Berkshire men grabbed a point from their MBBO Regional Two trip to Reading 4ths, the two sides drawing 3-3, writes Richard Ashton.
Kaya Campion, Ben Dudley and Ravi Patel all found the back of the net for the visitors, but a Jack Mundell double and an Ian Anderson strike ensured Reading gained a share of the spoils.
South Berkshire are at home to winless Wycombe 2nds this coming Saturday.
In MBBO Division Two, South Berkshire 2nds made it back-to-back wins with a 4-1 home cruise against Abingdon.
Daniel Ray bagged a brace and Joseph Hayes and Paul Kaplanski also got on the scoresheet for the hosts, with Alex Tibbitt netting Abingdon’s consolation.
A Tom Scott double and a Sam Pillar strike gave South Berkshire 3rds a 3-1 victory at Sonning 3rds, Elliott Weiss on target for the home side in their Division Three clash, but South Berkshire 4ths lost for the first time this season, going down 2-1 at home to Phoenix & Ranelagh 3rds in Division Eight West.
Second-placed South Berkshire ladies preserved their unbeaten start in Premier Division One of the Trysports Three Counties League, drawing 4-4 at home to Oxford 2nds.
They travel to struggling Slough 2nds on Saturday.
South Berkshire 2nds jumped up to third in Division One on the back of a 4-2 home win against Wallingford 2nds, while Inge Drotske, Safeeyah Rashid and Holly Bentley were among the goalscorers as South Berkshire 3rds hammered Aylesbury 3rds 5-1 in Division Three.
Basement side South Berkshire 4ths again found the going tough as they lost 5-0 at home to Oxford Hawks 6ths in Division Four.
