READING Athletic Club held their annual awards evening recently, with the Under 15 relay team of Kirsty Tregloven, Ellie Gilder, Fatou Gaye and Liani Tompson-Springer scooping the award for the Performance of the Year.
The quartet (pictured) enjoyed a memorable summer, breaking the club’s 44-year-old 4x100m record back in May, and then going on to smash it repeatedly.
They also set a new best time for the 4x300m in 2m 57.8secs, and were part of the U15 team which won the Alder Valley Finals weekend at Palmer Park.
