TILEHURST Albion maintained their 100 per cent Premier Division record with an eye-opening 3-1 win at YMCA Newbury.

Harvey Owen was in prolific form as he netted a hat-trick to see Tilehurst move three points clear at the top.

Norreys FC came from behind twice as they beat Brookside St Laurence 4-3 to get their first win of the season.

Jonny Hare, Callum Makepeace and Luke Wheeler were all on target for the away side, but a stunning strike from Norreys’ Adam Toft, a Shaun Gray penalty and a brace from Jacob Potter saw Norreys take a deserved three points.

Greyfriars remain second in the table after they narrowly overcame Wycliffe Wanderers 3-2. Goals from Neal Healy and Luke Simmonds for Wycliffe were answered by Mark Massey, Neil Hallet and Steve Downes to see Greyfriars continue their winning start to the season.

Barkham Athletic are also keeping the pressure on the top two as they beat West Reading 2-1. Strikes from Dom Howard and Matt Armstrong proved to be enough for last season’s league winners. Joe Henry was on target for West Reading, who remain without a win this season.

YMCA United continue their stunning start to the season as they shocked Bethel United 3-2 thanks to goals from Alex Storey, Tom Young and Kieran McClair.

The home side rise to fourth in the table, while elsewhere, Wycliffe United overcame new boys Beacon Church 3-1 to get their first win of the season.

Lewis Day was on target for Beacon who fall to fifth in the table.
