READING FC: Sam Baldock set to have medical today ahead of imminent announcement
SAM Baldock will have a medical this morning ahead of a proposed move to Reading FC, the Chronicle understands.
Paul Clement’s search for a new no.9 looks set to be over as Baldock verges on a permanent switch to Madejski Stadium.
Clement confirmed Royals had personal terms and a fee for a new striker all wrapped up and the move would be announced after a medical.
Sources say the forward in question is 29-year-old Baldock who has fallen down the pecking order at Brighton & Hove Albion.
