READING FC have the worst stoppage time goal record in the division this season, damning figures have revealed.

Royals have suffered four late goals in the Championship and have failed to score a single goal in injury time.

Jaap Stam's side looked certain to grab a 1-0 victory away at Barnsley on December 30 before Ethan Pinnock dealt the Dutchman a late blow.

Lee Tomlin punished Reading with a last-gasp equaliser in Cardiff City colours when the Bluebirds came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Madejski Stadium.

Tomlin was the thorn in Jaap Stam's side once again last week when he bagged an 85th minute leveller when Royals played Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Royals and Forest meanwhile are the only two sides in the Championship who have not scored a goal in stoppage time.

Queens Park Rangers have bagged six goals in the final minutes while Fulham lead the charts with no less than seven, according to figures by bookmarker Sportingbet.

Similarly to Reading, Brentford and Ipswich have also dropped four points in stoppage time.
