LAMBOURN trainer Nicky Henderson enjoyed a double at Cheltenham on Saturday as Apple’s Shakira stayed unbeaten by winning the Triumph Hurdle Trial, Barry Geraghty steering the 1-7 favourite to an eight-length success ahead of Look My Way.
The Henderson-trained Santini (4-1) was also victorious in the Grade 2 Ballymore Classic Novices' Hurdle, edging out Black Op by three-quarters of a length, while the 6-1 shot Mister Whitaker won the Timeform Novices' Handicap Chase for West Ilsley trainer Mick Channon.
