Royals have been searching for a striker since last summer and when asked about his interest in Bradshaw, Stam stated: "There are certain players within the league we’re looking at, but everything is about how much financially we can do."

Derby County striker Chris Martin is another possible target, with the Rams willing to listen to offers for the 29-year-old or allow him to leave on loan.

Stam also revealed Southampton's 22-year-old full-back Sam McQueen is also transfer target, although the deal would most likely be a loan move should it go through.

The Dutchman finally admitted Reading may have to sell players in order to bring new faces to Madejski Stadium before January 31 following strong interest in the likes of centre-back Liam Moore.
