THOUSANDS of Reading FC fans are expected to attend today's open day at Madejski Stadium.
Hordes of schoolchildren enjoying the summer holidays are set to take advantage of the free event.
They will be among the first to catch a glimpse of the new 2016/17 Reading FC kit, which will be launched at 10am.
Supporters can also sit back in the stands and watch Jaap Stam's first team train on the Madejski Stadium pitch for around an hour from 10.30am onwards.
Following a short break for lunch, the players will then meet supporters, sign autographs and pose for pictures in the ticket office, megastore and the Royals Fun Zone between 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
And there will even be a guest appearance from Royals co-chairman, Sir John Madejski, in the megastore around 1.30pm.
Admission and parking are free.
