DAVID will take on Goliath on Sunday when Peppard Stoke Row Under-13s face the mighty Henley in the final of the Berkshire Youth League Cup.

PSR have enjoyed a stunning season having won all 12 of their games so far, beating Hungerford, Emmbrook & Bearwood, Thatcham Town and East Woodhay to reach the final of the cup and also sitting top of Division One West.

They will face their biggest test to date, however, in Sunday’s final, which takes place at Reading Cricket Club.

The U13s success at PSR is part of a wonderful season so far for the junior set up, with the club having won 38 of 44 matches from Under-9s to Under-15s.

The U11 Kites are currently top of Division One West with a perfect record of five wins from five, while the U11 Maharajas have four wins from five to sit second in Division Two.

In the U9 Central league, the second-placed Kites have won five from six, while the Maharajas have secured the same number of victories from one extra game to sit fourth.

And the Under-15s also showed their quality by dismantling Reading by 77 runs on Wednesday of last week.
