Rebecca Halle gave the hosts the lead in the 12th minute and after that it became very much the Danson show, with the England international notching her first of the day just four minutes later.
The striker extended the lead to 3-0 by half-time, but Suzy Petty gave the visitors hope with a goal in the 50th minute.
However Danson extinguished any flickering hope for Beeston by completing her hat trick shortly after and then putting Reading 5-1 ahead with 13 minutes remaining.
And although Helena Evans grabbed a consolation two minutes from time, it was not enough for the visitors.
Reading travel to Leicester tomorrow (2pm).
