90+4: FULL TIME: Reading 0 - 1 Stevenage

90+3: Reading piling on the pressure now and Boro are camped in their own half.

90+1: Corner comes to nothing. Reading recycle it but Manset's header loops over the bar.

90+1. Reading win a corner and Federici goes up for it.

90 mins. Four minutes of time added on. Can Reading muster one last chance and force a replay??

89 mins. Final Stevenage change as Phil Edwards replaces Beardsley. Boro fans in full voice now. Elsewhere, the stands are emptying quickly.

88 mins. Chance for Reading as a cross is helped on, but Antonio's shot is blocked in a crowded area.

87 mins. Final Reading change as 18-year-old Lawson D'Ath comes off the bench to make his Reading debut in place of Shaun Cummings.

86 mins. Stevenage almost go 2-0 up, but for a superb Federici save after the Aussie gets down quickly to keep out Wilson's effort from the edge of the box.

85 mins. Byrom wide from 25 yards for Boro.

82 mins. Stevenage chance as goalscorer Darius Charles is replaced by winger Robin Shroot. Needless to say, Charles is cheered off by the Boro fans.

80 mins. Stevenage, as they have done all game, hit back with a chyance of their own as Byron's 30-yarder forced an important save from Federici.

78 mins. At last a decent spell of Reading pressure makes Boro look shaky. More of the same required from McDermott's men.

75 mins. The substitutions have made little difference for Reading as Stevenage remain comfortably on top. Royals going out at this rate.

72 mins: Stevenage sub as Byron Harrison replaces Luke Freeman. That means goalscorer shifts to left-back. He's a left-back by trade, but converted to a striker recently.

69 mins. Simon Church fires a volley wide from Robson-Kanu's cross. Close that. Boro still look good for their lead here.

65 mins. Chance for Stevenage as top scorer Beardsley drags one just wide from 18 yards.

64 mins. Another change for Reading as Mathieu Manset replaces Le Fondre. Can 'The Beast' turn this around.

61 mins: Stevanage miss a great chance to go 2-0 up as Wilson heads straight at Federici from six yards out.

59 mins. Terrible miss by Reading. Le Fondre's cross-field ball is nodded on by Church and Antonio is clean through on goal. Sadly, Antonio can only fire wide from 12 yards with only the keeper to beat. Should be 1-1.

57 mins. Reading still struggling to create a clear opportunity here. The final ball simply hasn't been good enough.

53 mins. Reading sub - Antonio for Tabb. Reading needed a change. Mcanuff playing in the middle now, Antonio right mid.

52 mins. Michail Antonio warming up for Reading.

50 mins. But Boro hit back and the impressive Lawrie Wilson sees his shot deflected wide.

48 mins: Le Fondre's 30-yarder is too hot for Day to handle as Reading force a cornere. Much better from the Royals.

4.05pm: The second half gets underway. No changes for either side at the break.

4.03pm: Reading have been sent out early by McDermott. And rightly so. They need a big 45 minutes or they're going out of the FA Cup!

HALF TIME: Reading 0 - 1 Stevenage

Reading have it all to do here after a dire first half display.

Stevenage thoroughly deserve their lead and could have scored one or two more.

As it is, a defelacted goal from Darius Charles after 21 minutes separates the sides, but Boro have definitely been on top.

Royals boss Brian McDermott will not be happy - expect a reaction in the second half.

45 mins. Two minutes of time added on.

43 mins. Mikele Leigertwood short-changes Adam Federici with a weak back-pass. Boro close him down and Royals look in trouble but the linesman flags for an infringement.

McDermott's men really have looked unconvincing at the back today. Very unlike them.

42 mins: Charloes fires wide from 25 yards as Boro have another go.

40 mins. And another piece of ping-pong in the Reading area as no-one appears capable of clearing their lines, albeit under more pressure from Boro. Terrific display from the League ! underdogs so far - but poor from the Royals.

39 mins. Reading look shaky at the back. Stevenage almost had another clear sniff at goal there.

37 mins: YELLOW CARD for Adam Le Fondre following a collision with Luke Freeman.

35 min: Stevenage nearly double their lead there as Charles scoops his shot over the bar from eight yards. Let off for Reading there.

32 mins: Jobi Mcanuff must be gutted right now. He gave the ball away far too easily, though credit must go Boro defender Scott Laird for robbing the ball off him.

30 mins: Reading pushing for a leveller now. Boro at sixes and sevens a minute ago but they just manage to scramble the ball out for a corner which comes to nothing.

27 mins. Crfedit to Boro, they look comfortable at the moment. Joel Byrum shoots just wide for them.

23 mins. Reading almost equalise as Jay Tabb shoots inches wide from a corner.

21 mins. Reading 0 - 1 Stevenage

We wanted a goal and we've got one - but it's Stevange who take the lead.

Reading were the architects of their own downfall there as skipper Jobi McAnuff foolishly loses the ball just inside his own half.

DARIUS CHARLES picked up possession, burst forward and tried his luck from 22 yards.

The ball flicked off Kaspars Gorkss' boot, wrong-footed Federici and crept into the bottom corner.

To be fair, Boro have edged the opening exchanges and you can't deny them their lead.

21 mins: GGGGGGGGOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

19 mins. Reading have a throw in near their own corner flag - and every player bar the goalkeepers are crammed into one quadrant. That's how tight this is today. We need a goal to open things up.

15 mins. Worth noting this is a strong team Reading have put out today, showing the importance Brian McDermott puts on getting through to the next round.

12 mins. Decent start by Reading but nothing in the way of a clear-cut chance yet. Tabb just fired over from 25 yards after a corner but Boro look well organised at the back.

9 mins. Another Boro corner, but it comes to nothing. Graham Westley's men are having a real go here - must be around 1,500 Boro fans here today.

7 mins. Stevenage chance, but Federici is equal to Chris Beardsley's effort. Bright start from the League 1 visitors.

6 mins. Jay Tabb goes in hard there - but nothing is given, much to Boro's frustration. Even Tabb apologised to the player there. Bad decision from the ref.

5 mins. Reading respond as a shot from Simon Church takes a wicked deflection, wrong-footing Boro keeper Chris Day. Unfortunately, the ball rolls a foot side of the post.

3 mins. Boro almost score as Lawrie Wilson's curling 20-yarder is tipped around the post by Adam Federici.

1 mins: Bright start by Royals as Le Fondre's shot is blocked.

3.02 pm. We're off. Reading in their hoops, Boro in black and red.

2.55pm. Bit of gossip flying around the press room that Jimmy Kebe was spotted on a train a couple of hours ago. Suggestion was his knee injury means he can't drive. But where was he going? Hmmmm, not sure there's much truth in it to be honest.

As exclusively revealed by the Chronicle on Thursday, Reading still hope Kebe will sign a new contract, having offered an improved two-and-a-half year deal.

But there is definitely a bid on the table from some rival club. This one will rumble on for a few weeks yet.

2.50pm: Just waiting for the teams to emerge from the tunnel now. Pretty modest crowd here today with the north stand closed off completely.

By the way, today's ref is Nigel Miller from County Durham.

2.45pm: The teams are:

Reading: Federici - Cummings, Pearce, Gorkss, Harte - McAnuff (c), Leigertwood, Tabb, Robson-Kanu - Le Fondre, Church.

Stevenage: Day - Wilson, Laird, Charles, Ashton, Byrom, Roberts (c), Freeman, Beardsley, Bostwick, Henry. Subs: Julian, Edwards, Long, Cowan, Thalassitis, Harrison, Shroot.

2.40pm: Sorry for the late start, so straight into the team news.

Reading make three changes to the side which lost 3-1 at Cardiff City on Monday.

Jimmy Kebe (knee) and Noel Hunt (ankle) miss out through injury while midfielder Jem Karacan in rested.

In come Hal Robson-Kanu, Adam Le Fondre and Jay Tabb.

Meanwhile, Lawson D'Ath, Sean Morrison and Brynjar Gunnarsson are on the bench.
