LABOUR leader Jeremy Corbyn has surprised pundits by announcing he will take part in tonight's television debate.
He broke the news at an election rally in Reading just moments ago.
The veteran politician challenged Theresa May to join him on the screen later today.
Amber Rudd is standing in for the Conservative candidate who has refused any face-to-face debates with opposition parties.
Mr Corbyn was addressing a Labour Party rally outside Rivermead Leisure Centre this morning.
