NOMINATIONS to stand for Reading's two parliamentary seats are now closed with a finalised list of candidates published.
In total 10 contestants will vie for the two seats with six competing for Reading East and four for Reading West.
The Conservative, Labour, Green and Liberal Democrat parties are each contesting both constituencies whilst an Independent and Active Democracy candidate will contest the more popular seat.
The full list of candidates are as follows.
Reading East:
Kizzi Johannessen - The Green Party
Andy Kirkwood - Movement for Active Democracy
Matt Rodda - Labour Party
Michael Jeffrey Turberville - Independent
Rob Wilson - The Conservative Party
Jenny Woods - Liberal Democrats
Reading West:
Olivia Bailey - Labour Party
Meri O'Connell - Liberal Democrats
Alok Sharma - The Conservative Party
Jamie Whitham - The Green Party
Polls will open at 7am on Thursday, June 8 and close at 10pm. Each constituency will return one MP to parliament with a result expected early the next morning.
