A prisoner who absconded from custody outside court has been traced and arrested.
The 23-year-old escaped from G4S security outside Aberdeen Sheriff Court at around 11.40am on Wednesday.
Police Scotland said he was traced on Friday afternoon.
He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
Chief Inspector Neil McDonald said: “We are grateful to members of the public who assisted with inquiries and those who shared our earlier appeal.”
