Body discovered in building
A MAN whose body was discovered in a building was at the centre of a police investigation yesterday (Sunday).
Officers from Thames Valley Police were called to a building in Basingstoke Road, Spencer's Wood, following reports a body had been discovered.
Police confirmed a man was found dead and a file has been prepared for the coroner.
The man's family have also been informed of his death.
A police spokesman said: "Officers were called at around 2.30pm yesterday to Basingstoke Road.
"On arrival they found that a man had died. At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious.
"The coroner has been informed.
"The man’s next of kin has been informed."
