LANES on a busy motorway are set to be closed and reduced speed limits will come into place, potentially causing drastic delays for motorists.
Work to improve traffic sensors near junction 8/9 for Windsor and junction 10 for Wokingham will see the westbound carriageway shut overnight on Tuesday, November 21.
Bridge reconstruction work on the bridge near junction 10 on the M4 will see narrow lanes and a reduced speed limit put in place.
The Westbound carriageway between junctions 10 and 11 will be closed overnight on Monday, November 20, as part of the project.
Meanwhile work is set to continue on the M4 between Junctions 12 and 13.
A 24 hour narrow lane, 50mph speed limit and overnight lane closures are always in place and will continue until July next year.
