THESE are the stars of a national television advert this Christmas.

Sisters Holly and Lottie Lawton featured in House of Fraser's festive advertisement this year.

The feature centres around two sisters, shown as children and as adults, enjoying retro and modern Christmas celebrations.

Six-year-old Lottie and eight-year-old Holly, who both attend Falkland School in Newbury, fended off plenty of competition to be handed the starring roles.

Their mother said: "The girls loved working together and had an amazing time filming the advert with the fabulous crew.

"Both girls are overjoyed to see the advert on tv, there was plenty of screaming in the house when it first came on.

"Their favourite part was covering each other in kisses and having a cornflake fight at the breakfast scene."

The advert was directed by duo Vaughan & Anthea, who have reunited to celebrate Christmas after more than 20 years apart.

They are best known for their video work in the 80s and 90s with artists such as tragic pop superstar George Michael (Fast Love) and Jamiroquai (Space Cowboy).
