A SCHOOL in Pangbourne is celebrating after being praised by an education watchdog.
St Andrew's was given the highest possible rating by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
Headmaster, Jonathan Bartlett, said: “At St Andrew’s we provide all-round and forward thinking education.
"Our aim is to cherish a child’s individuality whilst nurturing their happiness, confidence and passion; preparing children to be positive contributors in life.
"The inspection report is a reflection of these aims: excellent teaching and learning, excellent pastoral care and recognition of an environment that encourages children to be active and challenges themselves, both inside and outside of the classroom.
"The report is a tribute to the hard work and commitment of the School’s exceptional staff and supportive community.”
