A PENSIONER has been rushed to hospital in a life threatening condition after his car collided with a wall.
The man in his seventies remains in the Royal Berkshire Hospital following the collision at around 8.30pm last night.
The car left the road and hit into a wall at the junction of Bath Road and Berkeley Avenue.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a road traffic collision involving a car that had come off the road and hit a wall.
"We were assessing and treating a gentlemen in his seventies who sadly was in a life threatening condition and was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital."
