A ROBBER who beat a woman to the floor and held her down while rummaging through her pockets is being hunted by police.
The man, described as black, slim and wearing dark clothing, approached the woman from behind while she was waiting for friends in an alleyway off Low Lane, Calcot.
The victim, in her twenties, was left with injuries to her face, arm, shoulder and lower back as a result of the ordeal.
Thames Valley Police has since released an appeal for any witnesses to the attack, which took place at around 10.30pm on June 25, to come forward.
They described the robber as being aged between 25 and 35 and he made off with the woman's mobile phone and money before running off down the alleyway.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on the non-emergency number 101.
