Joe & The Juice confirms opening date at The Oracle, Reading

Danish chain Joe & The Juice will be located on the second floor of the centre in Reading, which is the first venue of its kind to open in the town.

Writing on social media today, The Oracle announced that visitors can expect music, "brews, juices and good vibes" on its opening day, which will include a series of launch offerings.

The video features a woman speaking to her friend, before entering the venue's opening date in her calendar.

The shop will sell fresh-to-order coffee, juices, milkshakes and sandwiches to shoppers and residents as well as wellness shots, smoothies and matcha drinks.

It will open opposite the former Five Guys restaurant.

Its opening offerings will include free juices from its open-kitchen layout, which is used across the chain's stores using minimalist interiors and natural materials.

Visitors will also be able to use the Joe & The Juice (JOE) app, which allows for pre-ordering and for customers to skip the queue and earn rewards.

The brand’s Scandinavian-style sandwiches, made fresh using its signature rye flatbread, will also be available, including the Tunacado, which includes whipped tuna, pesto aioli and avocado.

Jon James, the chain's UK Managing Director, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be opening our first store in Reading’s Oracle, bringing the Joe and The Juice experience to such a vibrant retail destination.

"It's somewhere people can step away from the pace of the day, whether they’re taking a break from shopping, catching up with friends over a matcha or stopping by for a fresh and energising juice.

"As we continue to grow across the UK, Reading is an exciting next step for us, and we’re looking forward to welcoming the community through our our doors and sharing everything that makes the chain so special.”

There are currently 89 Joe & The Juice locations in the UK, up from 68 from the end of 2023.
