Superstar rapper Tinie Tempah has been announced as the headliner for the August 'Party in the Paddock' at Newbury Racecourse.

Tinie Tempah has risen over the past two decades to be one of the UK's most successful music artists, breaking through with the chart-topping single 'Pass Out' and going on to achieve seven UK number one singles, platinum-selling albums, and collaborations with stars including Zara Larsson and Calvin Harris.

With multiple BRIT Awards and Mercury Prize nominations to his name, Tinie Tempah has also branched out beyond music and established himself as an entrepreneur, fashion figure and cultural tastemaker.

Newbury Racecourse are "delighted" to have the rapper headlining the afterparty for their August raceday weekend.

Harry Walklin, Marketing Director for Newbury Racecourse, said: “Excitement has been building for this summer’s Party in the Paddock music racedays since July’s headliners were unveiled and the announcement of Tinie Tempah only adds to the anticipation."

The racecourse is also collaborating with Visit Malta to provide one lucky fan at Tinie Tempah's live show the chance to win a "dream holiday" to Malta.

Walkim explained that one ticket, with prices starting from £24, will cover both the races and the live music afterparty.

The announcement of Tinie Tempah as the August headliner follows the recent reveal of the headliners for July, with GIPSY KINGS featuring Nicolas Reyes set to take to the stage on Friday, July 17, before Ronan Keating closes out the first weekend on Saturday, July 18.

Tickets are available from the Newbury Racecourse website.
