Three teenagers have been arrested for alleged animal cruelty and weapon crimes.

On Saturday, September 27, officers from Thames Valley Police were called to an area of Twyford along the Berkshire-Buckinghamshire border following reports of pheasants being shot with catapults.

After arriving at the scene in the undisclosed area of the village, the force ‘quickly located’ three teenagers.

They have since been arrested.

A spokesperson from Thames Valley Police said: “Animal cruelty and the use of weapons to harm wildlife will not be tolerated.”
