Ewhurst Park, a 925-acre nature restoration site near Reading, is expanding its public events calendar this year.

April 21 will see the launch of the Spring Festival, the first of four seasonal family events planned for 2025.

This festival will offer a range of activities for children, inviting families to explore the picturesque bluebell walks and enjoy local produce.

On May 17, Ewhurst Park will host its first Wild Feast of the year.

This outdoor dining experience will immerse attendees in nature and feature food grown and foraged on the estate.

Director of Ewhurst Park, Mandy Lieu, explained the park's mission: "One of our key visions as a site is to reconnect people with the land, nature and food provenance, and it’s fantastic to be able to host so many events this year that do exactly that."

Besides these major events, the park has announced a range of workshops catering to all interests.

From Beginners Foraging to Forest Bathing, Family Bushcraft Days to Herbalism and Healing, there is something for everyone.

Located in Ramsdell, Tadley, Ewhurst Park is a rural estate dedicated to biodiversity and sustainability.

The estate is not just a venue for events; it is also a hub for nature restoration and food production.

Managed day-to-day to support these activities, the estate is home to otters, beavers, and 90 different species of birds.

Ewhurst Park has embarked on a wide-ranging project aimed at restoring the land for nature, growing healthy and ethically produced organic food, and reconnecting people with nature.

Through community outreach, organised education, and hospitality events, the park seeks to engage the public and foster a sense of connection with the environment.

The estate's commitment to sustainability and nature restoration is reflected in its approach to managing the land.

This includes creating a diverse habitat for wildlife, promoting organic farming practices, and encouraging visitors to engage with and appreciate the natural world.

Tickets for the upcoming events can be found on the Ewhurst Park website and on Eventbrite.

As the park opens its doors to more events than ever before, it invites people to come and enjoy the beauty of nature, learn more about sustainable living, and take part in its community-focused activities.

Whether you're looking for a fun family day out, a unique dining experience, or an opportunity to learn in a beautiful setting, Ewhurst Park has something to offer.

As the estate continues to develop its event schedule, it promises to be a key destination for those looking to connect with nature and their community.
