Dozens of police cadets from across West Berkshire were hosted by Thames Valley Police at their training academy in Sulhamstead.
The cadets scheme gives young people an opportunity to develop their qualities and skills through a structured programme and to enhance the relationship between the public and police.
The Volunteer Police Cadets are a diverse group of young people aged 13-18 years who have a desire to support their local communities and gain a practical understanding of policing.
At the training college in Sulhamstead on Tuesday, November 19, the cadets were taught vital life saving first aid skills to learn what to do if someone takes ill or becomes unwell in their company.
