A FLASHER is being hunted by police after exposing himself and performing an indecent act to a young woman in Reading.
The victim, a female in her thirties, was on Katesgrove Lane in Reading on Friday, September 20 when it happened about 8.15pm.
Thames Valley Police said a man pulled down his trousers and exposed himself whilst performing an indecent act.
The victim saw a silver vehicle drive past the offender on Katesgrove Lane, which spooked him and caused him to walk off in the direction of Berkley Avenue.
Officers said the flasher is described as tanned, of a medium build, aged between 40-50-years-old with short, dark hair and facial stubble. He was wearing a navy jumper and grey tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Investigating officer PC Danielle Steeden said: “We are appealing for any witnesses to this indecent incident to please come forward.
“Anyone who lives in the areas in or around Katesgrove Lane, Elgar Road, Pell Street and Berkley Avenue, please check any CCTV, dash-cam or Ring doorbell footage around the time of the incident.
“I am also appealing to the driver of the silver vehicle, who drove past the offender."
