A person has been taken to hospital due to an incident on the train lines between Reading and London, which caused major disruption to services during rush hour yesterday.
British Transport Police officers were called to the Goring and Streatley railway station at 4.53pm on Tuesday, September 24.
Reports of a casualty on the tracks caused trains to alter routes so that the emergency services could reach the station.
One person was taken to hospital after paramedics also attended, but the victim’s injuries are not thought to be life-changing or threatening.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the Goring and Streatley railway station at 4.53pm yesterday to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended and a person was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.”
