Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after a man jumped over the counter at a Shell Garage and assaulted a member of staff.
The incident took place at around 10:15am on Saturday, September 21in the garage on Shinfield Road in Reading.
After jumping over the counter, the offender made off with a number of vapes.
A 26-year-old man from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and has been released on bail until December 4.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Michael Hanson of the Reading Priority Crime Team, said: “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area of the Shell Garage on Saturday and who believes they may have witnessed this incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“I’d particularly like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have dash-cam that captured the incident to contact us, and to anybody who was on the forecourt or in the shop to call if you have witnessed this.
