A pub near Sonning Common has recently revealed it will be opening its very own secret garden which will only be accessible to adults.
The landlord who recently took over the establishment told The Chronicle that he plans to create small pod-like seating areas where adults can go and relax whilst enjoying food and drinks.
Tommy Gavaghan, who just took over The Unicorn pub, said that things are going well after their grand opening a few weeks prior.
The pub boasts an excessive outdoor seating area with around 20 or 30 covers and then a lovely spacious beer garden.
"We are also building an adult's only secret garden that we are very excited to invite guests to. It will be a little hidden place with pods where people can chill out and relax," Mr Gavaghan said.
Mr Gavaghan also stressed that children are welcome at the pub as are dogs.
The secret garden is at this point in time a work in progress, but Mr Gavaghan and his team are hoping to welcome guests to the pods as soon as possible.
"It's going to be just a nice little small area that will be completely hidden," he said. "I'm going to also put herbs in there and the little pods where people can chill out and relax.
"The secret garden is going to be just for adults. I plan to call it somewhere or anywhere, something like that."
Other than lots of options for alcoholic and soft beverages, The Unicorn has also launched a brand new extensive menu.
"We're doing a lot of typical British pub things along with lots of other dishes," Mr Gavaghan said.
"We're doing our Sunday roasts with plenty of options. Lamb, pork, chicken, beef, and vegetarian. And we are also starting a lunchtime menu with wraps, and salads."
The pub also offers a number of other delicious plates such as mackerel fillets, burrata, chicken liver pate, steaks, fresh fish offered every single day, and lots of veggie options.
They also do some small plates tapas style. "These include patatas bravas, selection of cheeses, meatballs, sardines, calamari, plenty of stuff," Mr Gavaghan said.
He went on to say that he has been in hospitality since he was 18 years old and has worked in the industry for around 35 years.
Mr Gavaghan has taken on this venture along with a great team including a talented number of kitchen staff.
