Thames Valley Police have fined a driver after they parked their car in the middle of a carriageway facing the wrong way.
The driver in question was given an £100 fine and three points on his license.
A spokesperson for TVP said the following: "The apparent parking dilemma we discovered tonight; Option 1: Find a suitable parking space and park appropriately.
"Option 2: Abandon your car in the middle of the carriageway facing the wrong way. The driver was reported at the roadside."
After posting this to Facebook, a number of people commented under the photograph of the dreadful parking.
One person said "At last one of them has been fined!! Now what about the rest park like that on the other side of the road and further up in the middle of the road? It’s beyond joke in that area and has been for years!"
