A well-known Italian deli has announced its reopening after closing its doors following ten years of trading at its Winnersh-based shop.
Zotta Deli, previously located on Reading Road, is a specialist food store providing Italian food and wine to the people of Berkshire.
On July 20, owners and management said goodbye to their Winnersh shop where they have spent a decade making the deli so successful.
Although this is disappointing for people in the local community, it isn’t all bad news.
The business has announced that they will be reopening their deli on Sunday, September 8 at a new location on Basingstoke Road, Reading.
A spokesperson said: “After 10 years, a pandemic and some testing times. We wanted to take this moment in saying thank you for the amazing support and great community.
“However, it is not goodbye forever. As we are inviting and hoping to see you at our new location with the wonderful support we have had.
“Pop in also If you are in the area today as word on the grape vine is there may be some bubbles and sweet treats.”
The address of the new store will be 279 Basingstoke Rd, Reading RG2 0JA.
