After a pretty miserable week of on-and-off rain showers and cloudy skies, Berkshire is in need of a bit of sunshine - it is summer after all!
Could another summer heatwave be on its way this weekend to brighten up our days? With that in mind, here is the latest weather forecast.
The weather in Reading over the next few days is looking like it will indeed brighten up, with the weather on Sunday looking absolutely sweltering!
Saturday will see highs of 24 degrees and lows of 14 with light cloud and a gentle breeze. Our town will see some sunshine earlier in the day before the sky returns to this week's cloudiness.
However, on Sunday our town can expect to see highs of a whopping 29 degrees and lows of 18 with sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Clear sunshine is predicted from 4 pm to 8 pm.
The weather in Bracknell is looking much of the same with a fairly similar forecast.
On Saturday the town will see highs of 24 degrees and lows of 13 with light clouds and a gentle breeze.
The weather on Sunday, not unlike the forecast in Reading, is heavily brightening up with highs of 29 degrees and lows of 18, with clear sunshine predicted from 4 pm to 8 pm.
The weather forecast in Slough is also pretty similar. The town will see highs of 24 and lows of 14 on Saturday with highs of 29 on Sunday.
