Sweet tooths across Berkshire are in for a treat with a new cake shop soon to appear in Reading Town Centre.
Located in one of the town’s most historic buildings – Jackson's Corner – CakeCo is a shop that has been producing cakes and bakery confections across the South East since 1994.
Signs in the window of the well-known building show that the shop will be ‘opening soon’.
The Reading branch will mark its sixth location in the UK. Other stores include Southall, Slough, Hayes, Ilford and Harrow.
CakeCo, previously known as Paul’s Bakery is currently going through a rebranding to mark its 30th anniversary.
It is a family-owned business, first established in West London and is one of the first Fresh Cream Cake specialists.
