Thames Valley Police arrested a 47-year-old man from Reading yesterday (9/7) after storming an office building at Abbey Gardens.
Officers were spotted just off Kings Road at around 2pm on Tuesday, July 10 where they escorted a man to their vehicle from the building.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson, said: “This is in relation to an arrest of a 47-year old man from Reading on suspicion of three counts of shoplifting and a count of recall to prison.
“He remains in custody at this time.”
Around five members of the force attended the scene.
