AN ELDERLY woman has been left with a serious head injury after being involved in a crash with a taxi.
Thames Valley Police is calling for witnesses to come forward to the horror crash that happened in Thatcham on June 25, 2024.
The woman, aged in her 70s, was walking with a frame around 9.33am in High Street when she was struck by a black Ford Tourneo taxi.
The force said she was rushed to hospital with a bleed on the brain. She remains at the John Radcliffe Hospital at this time.
Investigating officer Police Constable Jamie Payne, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in our investigation after a woman sustained a very serious head injury.
“We would ask anyone who witnessed this collision or may have dash-cam footage to please come forward.
