Police are appealing for information after a teenage boy threw a rock at a woman's head.

At 6:50pm on Saturday, May 18, a woman was walking in the alleyway between Bath Road and Bourne Arch/Loundeyes Close in Thatcham.

The woman, in her forties, had a rock thrown at her causing injuries to her head, by a boy.

This resulted in hospital treatment, but she has since been discharged.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for information following the incident which is being treated as of ABH (Actual Bodily Harm).

The offender is described as a white teenaged boy, of a short build, and was wearing shorts with a white shirt. They were also seen with a small push scooter.

Investigating officer PC Alasdair Ferrie said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed this incident or have CCTV or dash-cam footage in the area, to please get in touch.
